About The Position

Hall Honda in Virginia Beach is the busiest Honda dealership in the mid-Atlantic region and we are now offering an hourly sales support staff role that can be your first step to a long term career in automotive retail. The Honda Product Specialist will be the face of our dealership, providing in-depth knowledge and personalized assistance to our potential buyers. You will be responsible for showcasing the innovative features and technology of our Honda products, ensuring that our customers have a thorough understanding and appreciation of their vehicles. This will include in-dealership customers as well as presenting vehicles to customers at their homes when they have expressed interest in purchasing from us. This Position Offers: Competitive compensation- paying $18/hour plus incentive bonuses Monday through Friday work schedule, plus one Saturday at the end of the month. Requirements

• Passion for Automotive: Genuine interest in Honda and a passion for cars and technology
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and engagingly.
• Customer Service: Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on providing exceptional service.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfort with using technology and digital tools to demonstrate and explain vehicle features.
• 2 years of Retail/Direct to consumer sales experience
• Valid Driver’s License, with less than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years and ALSO no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates under 21 only allowed 1 moving violation and no major violations in the last 3 years
• Qualifying candidates for this role will be required to complete a Predictive Index assessment for consideration of an interview.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet and engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored information about Honda vehicles.
• Customer In-Home Presentations: You will deliver vehicles to interested customers and conduct product demonstrations and test drives:
• Product Expertise: Demonstrate the latest Honda technologies and features, offering detailed explanations and answering any questions customers may have.
• Vehicle Demonstrations: Conduct test drives and feature demonstrations to highlight the unique selling points and benefits of Honda vehicles.
• Customer Support: Assist customers with any post-purchase inquiries or issues, providing ongoing support to enhance their ownership experience.
• Training & Development: Continuously stay updated with Honda product knowledge and technology advancements to provide the most accurate information.
• Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to support the sales process and contribute to achieving dealership sales targets.
