About The Position

LakePoint is seeking individuals who want to play a key role in providing excellent guest experience through our Program and Activities department. We are seeking a team member that is responsible for implementing, teaching, coordinating and carrying out activities through our twice-weekly Home School PE Program.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED
• At least one year of higher education preferred.
• Prefer experience working with children, youth camp programs, recreation, or other related fields
• Complete First Aid and CPR certification (provided by LakePoint Sports upon hiring)
• Ability to lead, plan, organize and implement program activities.
• Ability to work with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work as a team member and accomplish tasks together.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to accept responsibility and exercise judgment.
• Communicate and work with various ages and skill levels and interact with the public in an effective and courteous manner.
• Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to the activity.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of activities for Home School PE classes. This would include tasks including but not limited to setup, supervision, and breakdown and develop.
• Organize, lead, and instruct a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for each class.
• Help lead and organize Team parties and sport related birthday parties.
• Resolve problems that may arise in a proactive and professional manner.
• Ensure site cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate with Director and other team members.
• Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with the activity and all program areas that are involved.
• Be enthusiastic and positive with guests and team members while maintaining high standards of health and safety for all.
