About The Position

The position is responsible for ensuring that the sales team adheres to sales goals and increases the client base and revenues. The role involves day-to-day operations, supervising employees, and ensuring customer service aligns with the company's values. The ideal candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stay updated with homeowner insurance carriers, address client concerns, and provide excellent customer service. Additionally, the candidate will set sales targets, monitor performance, keep up with industry trends, train the team, and be involved in the recruitment process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of homeowner insurance sales and management work experience.
  • Proven track record of revenue growth and homeowners' policy sales success in a prior role.
  • Proven success in developing and building partnerships, decision making, and problem solving.
  • Advanced knowledge of the business, including production management, claims, loss prevention, underwriting, administration, sales operations, and agency business operations.
  • High degree of customer focus, interpersonal relationship skills, and problem-solving.
  • Advanced analytical thinking, business analytics, and business development skills.
  • Strong time management and team orientation skills.
  • Well-versed understanding of marketing principles.
  • Must be licensed by the state if required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, both current and potential, to understand their homeowner insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up to date, and partner with, all homeowner insurance carriers across various states.
  • Address client concerns and complaints in a timely and effective manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients have a positive experience when interacting with the team.
  • Set realistic sales targets for the team and monitor progress towards achieving those sales goals.
  • Monitor sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide reports to management.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, new homeowner products, and changes in insurance regulations.
  • Train and develop the team, providing knowledge and skills needed to succeed in selling homeowner insurance policies.
  • Motivate, create a positive and productive work environment, and provide guidance and support to help the team achieve their goals.
  • Be involved in the recruitment and hiring process for new Sales Representatives, ensuring candidates have the skills and experience needed to succeed.
