Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. (required)
• Proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English. (required)
• Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods. (required)
• Capable of lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs independently and up to 50 lbs with assistance; able to push and pull objects as needed. (required)
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, visitors, staff, and external agencies. (required)
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English. (required)

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in food preparation and/or working with the elderly. (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast in accordance with the Kosher menu, accommodating dietary restrictions and texture modifications.
• Assist with meal service and clean-up, ensuring residents have a safe and pleasant dining experience.
• Provide companionship to residents through conversation, activities, and transportation support.
• Monitor residents for safety or medical concerns and promptly alert nursing staff as needed.
