About The Position
Join Aveanna Healthcare as Home Maker (HM). You will provide personal care, selected treatment procedures, minimal household tasks and occasional meal preparation under the advisory of a Registered Nurse for individuals with special needs in their homes. Newly hired Variable Hour and Part Time employees are measured for eligibility into our ACA Benefits plans over their first twelve months of employment (also known as the Initial Measurement Period). Employees who work at least 130 hours per calendar month over this Initial Measurement Period will be invited to enroll in our ACA Benefits Plans, which offer an array of enhanced benefit plan options. If you meet the requirement under the twelve-month Measurement Period, you will also be eligible for your choice of major medical plans, dental and vision coverage.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older with High school degree/GED
- Valid Drivers license
- Acceptable MVR
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one-year Home Health Care experience or LTC experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform home management functions such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning
- Plan meals, shop for groceries, prepare and serve meals, and clean up
- Communicate verbally with clients, client family members, and Recover Health staff in a professional manner
- Ensure client safety while maintaining a safe environment
- Encourage self-help activities
- Report and Document services provided and changes in client's condition or family situation to the office
- Maintain clinical record documentation according to Recover Health policy and procedures as well as state and federal regulations
