Active Homecare has several immediate opportunities for experienced Homemakers & Personal Care Assistants to join our team. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License with proof of active insurance and registration
• Reliable transportation to get to work and run errands for clients
• Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, turning, pivoting, transferring, and lifting at least 50 pounds
• Successful results of background check, motor vehicle report, drug testing, and any other state-specific requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, caring companionship to clients
• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and document client's condition, ensuring safety at all times
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks
• Escort clients to/from appointments as needed
• Run errands and shop for food and personal items as needed
