The Homemaker at Riverside Lifelong Health and Rehabilitation plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by providing both dining services and housekeeping support. The Homemaker is responsible for preparing healthy and appetizing meals and snacks, adhering to high-quality standards and portion control while using standardized recipes. This role also involves serving meals and snacks to residents and guests, ensuring that their dietary needs and preferences are met. In addition to culinary duties, the Homemaker is tasked with planning and facilitating activities that engage residents in food preparation and other kitchen-related activities. Housekeeping responsibilities are equally important, as the Homemaker must maintain cleanliness and the overall appearance of resident rooms and common areas. This includes adhering to sanitation guidelines and universal precautions to ensure a safe environment for all. The Homemaker is expected to be versatile, cross-trained in various functions within the Household to effectively meet the needs of residents as they arise. The Homemaker's role is not just about fulfilling tasks; it is about creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere for residents, guests, and family members.
