About The Position
Our Homemaker Companions are the heart of our business. You play a vital role in improving the lives of seniors by assisting with their everyday needs and bringing joy to their lives. While it’s hard to put a price on helping others, we recognize the incredible value you provide to our clients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a Homemaker Companion or in a similar role
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Current and valid driver’s license, with the ability to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with applicable laws
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living needs while offering companionship
- Accompany clients on walks, to social events, or during errands
- Prepare home-cooked meals (gourmet skills not required!)
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Note: Homemaker Companions do not provide medical, nursing, or skilled services
