Requirements
- Reliable, compassionate, and dependable
- Ability to work independently in a client’s home
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a Homemaker Companion or in a similar role
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Current and valid driver’s license, with the ability to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with applicable laws
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly companionship and conversation
- Assist with light housekeeping: Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping
- Laundry and changing bed linens
- Dishes and bathroom cleaning
- Prepare simple meals and snacks
- Accompany clients on walks or social activities
- Assist with hobbies and daily routines
- Grocery shop or run errands when scheduled
- Complete brief shift documentation
