About The Position
The City of Somerville Health and Human Services Department is seeking a Homelessness Project Coordinator within the Prevention Services Division to support project implementation, administrative operations, and service delivery tracking for contracts serving persons experiencing homelessness (PEH). This position plays a key supporting role-under the direction of the Director of Prevention Services-in organizing contract activities, documenting deliverables, coordinating logistics, and communicating with service providers, internal departments, and other stakeholders. The position includes substantial involvement in seasonal projects, including the City's Winter Warming Center, as well as other shelter- and homelessness-related services, with a focus on administrative coordination, cross-departmental scheduling, meeting facilitation, invoice tracking, and compliance support.
