About The Position

Western Maine Community Action is looking for a compassionate, motivated, and organized Homeless Navigator / Targeted Case Manager to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness find stability, connect to resources, and move toward safe housing and independence. This position is perfect for someone who wants to combine direct client support, community outreach, and meaningful impact every day. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human services related field + 1 year experience
Bachelor’s degree in another field + 1 year relevant human services experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to build strong partnerships in the community
Ability to multitask and manage both administrative and client-facing work
Maine driver license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Support individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability
Connect clients with housing, healthcare, food, fuel assistance, and community resources
Build strong partnerships with landlords, housing authorities, and service providers
Help clients identify their strengths and develop plans toward independence
Conduct outreach and community education
Maintain case documentation and program reporting
Represent WMCA in the community and at local events
