About The Position

Overview: Hours: Mon- Fri 8am-4:30pm. All onsite Job Description Summary: Coordinators referrals to meet the request and needs of individual patients and care providers, serves as the initial customer service and problem-solving resource, and performs support functions to facilitate billing, payroll, documentation collection and case management activities. Job Description: Essential Functions: Coordinates and schedules homecare staff to ensure adequate coverage for clients. Communicates with clients and their families to assess their needs and match them with appropriate staff. Maintains accurate records of staff schedules, client information, and staff certifications. Provides orientation and training to new staff members. Assists with verifying payer information, obtaining authorizations, tracking authorizations, activities and end dates. Ensures that patients activity is added to the electronic medical record in preparation for billing. Serves as a customer service and problem-solving resource for nurses, families, and referring parties. Provides administrative support for meetings, ordering and supply and supply management as well as support on various departmental projects.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Home health, office or business administration, or other medical-related experience, required
