Institute on Aging is seeking an experienced Home Care Recruiter to join our growing Bay Area home Care team. The ideal candidate will have experience with home health or home care full-cycle recruiting, the Guardian registration process, and the ability to conduct in-person interviews and New Hire Orientations (NHO) throughout the Bay Area. This is an ideal position for a mission-focused, positive, customer-centric recruiter who enjoys the challenge of finding and providing 5-star service to “golden nugget" Home Care Aides and wearing multiple hats on a daily basis. Main focus: Finding amazing Home Care Aides, hiring them, orienting them to the organization, and providing them the best customer service and support during their employment with Support at Home. Challenges you’ll be faced with: Home care hiring is high-volume, urgent, and nonstop (but don't worry- we respect work hours!). You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where the need for caregivers is constant and priorities can shift quickly. Caregiver turnover is among the highest in the U.S. at 85% year over year, which means the work won't stop at hiring! We’re looking for someone who will think creatively about improving retention, strengthening onboarding, and helping caregivers feel connected and supported.
