About The Position

Overview: Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines. Job Description Summary: Assists the coordination of daily clinical operations and the planning, evaluation, and implementation of program services. Manages and evaluates staff, ensuring quality patient care and compliance with standards and regulations. Job Description: Essential Functions: Assists with the daily operations of the department, including policies and procedures, budget management, recruitment, and other administrative tasks. Participates in departmental planning, marketing and implementation of new programs. Assists with coordination of departmental performance improvement activities. Performs the clinical duties of department staff, effectively interacting with patients, families, health care teams and supervised staff. Serves as an advocate and liaison for department in committees and meetings and with internal and external groups. Supervises department staff, providing clinical leadership and expertise and ensuring compliance with performance standards and external regulatory agencies. Assist with the training and continuing education of staff. Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in related field, required. Licensure Requirement: State of Ohio Licensure in Occupational Therapy, required. Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Experience: Two years minimum experience in a clinical setting, required. Acute care pediatric experience, preferred. Experience in a leadership capacity, preferred. Requirements
