Oversee all activities within the Certified Regional Home Health Aid department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations for the region. Monitors all workflows and identifies areas of improvement. Lead all HCA staff, making sure they meet all productivity and quality metrics. Duties may include reviewing all HCA referrals and scheduling for members of the HCA team to ensure timely, complete schedules and appropriate patient care. Perform training in-person and remotely as needed to maintain staff performance. Collaborates with other departments and Regions to enhance Certified regional overall efficiency and productivity. Key responsibilities include staff management, process improvement, compliance and performance reporting. Ensures regulatory compliance and supports care quality by applying agency policies, guiding care teams in performance improvement, and resolving patient care issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Assist the team with operational workflow and tasks as needed. Anticipates and responds to customer needs promptly and professionally; provides Homecare Aide orientation for new patients or plan of care changes and coordinates the aide new hire orientation process- including implementation, follow-through, and competency validation- in collaboration with Care Management and Quality teams. Schedules home care aide staffing to ensure appropriate resource utilization and meet client needs; manages hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance evaluation, including supervisory home visits and development planning. Collaborates with Care Management and Quality teams to develop annual in-service programs; monitors and communicates regulatory and accreditation updates related to hospice care aides, serving as a resource to staff. Actively participates in student education, preceptor programs, and performance improvement initiatives.
