About The Position

The Home Stylist supports the Home Outlet service experience and drives brand metrics by developing authentic customer connections, offering styling advice, and providing an individualized experience with curated product recommendations.

Requirements

  • Passion for Anthropologie home decor
  • 2+ years of experience building customer relationships or clienteling
  • Passion for interior design
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Leads by example in relationship building, styling, and networking with customers; educates the store team and the customer on the home stylist role and service offerings
  • Collaborates with Store Leadership on the creation of an engaging visual experience that appeals to the Home Outlet customer
  • Leads social media initiatives and drives engagement by providing content that is reflective of interests of the local customer and remote followers
  • Generates impromptu and formal appointment opportunities to cultivate customer relationships and drive key metrics
  • Actively participates in managing the store environment and customer experience by facilitating an energized pace, positivity of the team, management of the daily zone, and driving sales
  • Provides timely and specific employee feedback to create a culture of action and accountability
  • Collaborates with the Leadership Team to facilitate thoughtful onboarding for new hires and to drive a strong brand, customer, and store connection
  • Utilizes brand resources to share relevant home styling and product knowledge with the team to elevate associate confidence in servicing the outlet customer
  • Collaborates with the Leadership Team to accurately support and optimize peak selling hours; utilizes reporting tools and inventory awareness to identify merchant opportunities within floorplan, product placement, and styling
  • Takes an active role in opening and closing, restock, standards, cleanliness, IT and facilities issues, and loss prevention efforts; leads with a customer first mindset when establishing operational priorities
  • Supports product flow processes which include shipment receipt, processing, and preparing product for floor placement; leads the team to maintain an organized and efficient back of house
  • Adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store
  • Contributes to an inclusive environment by helping to amplify all voices, actively seeking and advocating different perspectives
  • Takes initiative in teaching and sharing product knowledge, current trends, product priorities, and brand messaging through daily touchpoints with the team
  • Cultivates productive relationships with leadership and selling team that contributes to a collaborative, customer-centric environment; maintains open communication to identify and act on business needs in the moment
