SAFY is seeking a PRN Home Study Specialist for our SAFY of Colorado. As a PRN Home Study Specialist, you will be responsible for the licensing of treatment, therapeutic, and traditional foster parents as well as adoptive parents, where applicable, as defined by annual goals. This role will serve Colorado Springs/ El Paso County primarily. Applicants may be in Douglas or Elbert County regions. Who We Are At SAFY, our mission is Preserving Families & Securing Futures. What You’ll Do Clinical: Complete the full SAFE Training provided by the State of Colorado Perform home study of prospective treatment parent(s) and their home environment according to SAFY policy and specific requirements of the state. Determine appropriateness of prospective foster parents and the best placement type. Effectively engage all members of a potential foster family. Address sensitive and/or personal topics with prospective foster parents. Complete all documentation using a computerized clinical record and maintain central file which will consist of required paperwork such as payment, case notes, legal documents, and releases of information. Inform clients of company policies, procedures, rights, and responsibilities. Enforce policies by writing corrective action plans, incident reports, and conducting rules investigations.
