About The Position

The Home Shopping Department Manager is responsible for leading the Drive Up & Go online selection process, ensuring timely and accurate order execution. This role involves managing DUG Clerks/Shoppers, overseeing customer service, and adhering to company procedures in a unionized hourly position within the store. The manager will facilitate training, maintain department standards, and drive customer awareness of DUG services.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess leadership skills and the ability to influence others.
  • Ability to motivate team members to achieve department goals.
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of DUG/ECom operations.
  • Review and manage 'Metrics That Matter' on a daily/weekly basis with DUG staff and Store Director.
  • Ensure the DUG department meets standards for cleanliness and organization.
  • Facilitate training for all DUG employees, including 'on-demand' employees.
  • Ensure all DUG employees follow proper processes and procedures.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with the DUG experience.
  • Ensure all orders are shopped and staged on time prior to customer arrival.
  • Ensure all orders meet the 3Q's standards: Quality, Quantity, and Quickness.
  • Facilitate store employee awareness and conduct DUG huddles throughout the day.
  • Ensure customer-facing employees can answer all DUG FAQs and promote DUG services.
  • Drive sales by visiting neighboring businesses to explain DUG services.
