About The Position

Our department, Well@Westminster, is looking for a Home Service Worker that will offer companionship to our residents while fostering a supportive and caring environment. Our primary goal is to enable our residents to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes while providing assistance with general daily needs such as meals, chores, and medication reminders. We are looking for individuals that are willing to go above and beyond, do the right thing, and have love and respect in everything that they do! Westminster Village seeks a Home Service Worker available on a part-time basis during the daytime shift! The wage scale for this position is $17.51 to $19.51 per hour. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience working with geriatric people preferred.
Responsibilities
- Observation and Reporting: Observe the client's functioning and promptly report any changes or concerns to their supervisor, employer, or a person designated by the client.
- Household Chores: Assist with household chores, including cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
- Support Outside Appointments: Aid in completing activities such as shopping and accompanying clients to appointments outside of the home.
- Companionship: Offer companionship to clients, fostering a supportive and caring environment.
- Documentation: Accurately complete appropriate records, documenting the services provided to clients.
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care, which may include dressing, bathing, grooming, and other non-medical personal tasks.
- Complete 10 hours of on-the-job training.
