About The Position

Experienced Home Technician – Senior Home Modifications & Handyman Services (Essex, Morris, Union Counties) If you have 5+ years of paid, hands-on experience in carpentry, general contracting, or handyman work and reside in New Jersey, we want to hear from you. TruBlue of Morristown and Montclair, part of a national handyman and senior home care services company, is seeking an experienced Home Technician (Handyman/Handywoman) to support our growing customer base across Northern NJ—serving Essex, Morris, and Union counties, with future territory expansion anticipated. We specialize in premium handyman services and senior home safety modifications , and we’re looking for a skilled, dependable professional who shares our passion for helping people stay safely and comfortably in their homes. We’re looking for a technician with skills in some or all of the following areas: Senior home safety modifications (grab bars, stair rails, ramps, etc.) General carpentry and home repairs Preventive maintenance Bathroom/kitchen upgrades and accessibility improvements Drywall repair, patching, and caulking Ceiling lights and fan installs Interior painting Fence repair Minor plumbing and electrical Deck and siding repairs What We Provide: Flexible, regular work hours Backing of a national brand with a full marketing and sales program Management and back-office support TruBlue-branded shirts, polos, and gear Approved expenses (Auto, tools, etc.) – varies by location Intuitive software tools for estimating, invoicing, and payments Requirements: Valid driver’s license and work truck Standard tools of the trade Fluent in English U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization Must pass a background check About Us: TruBlue of Morristown and Montclair is a Home Ally Service company committed to maintaining the safety, accessibility, and value of our clients' homes , especially for older adults who wish to age in place.
