This role is not for someone looking for a purely administrative seat, limited field responsibility, or low-accountability work. THE OPPORTUNITY As a Project Leader, you own assigned projects from handoff through completion and final collection. You are the primary point of contact for homeowners, crews, and internal teams, and you are responsible for delivering projects: on time on budget to company standards with a controlled, professional customer experience You are accountable for three core outcomes on every job: Service — customer experience, communication, and installation quality Speed — cycle time from sale to start to completion to final payment Profitability — cost awareness, margin protection, and early escalation of risk High performers who prove themselves early will have opportunities to grow into senior leadership roles as the company scales. ROLE PURPOSE & ACCOUNTABILITY The Project Leader owns all job-level outcomes and ensures each project is delivered according to the signed agreement, approved scope, company standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes. Success in this role is measured by: project readiness and execution discipline installation quality schedule adherence and cycle time customer experience change order and add-on execution final payment collection and clean close-out

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of project leadership, project management, or comparable field-operations experience in construction
  • Residential exterior experience strongly preferred (roofing, siding, windows, gutters, or similar)
  • Must be capable of leading jobs in the field, making real-time decisions, and owning the outcome from start to finish
  • Strong communicator who can manage homeowners, crews, and internal handoffs with clarity and professionalism
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through, attention to detail, and CRM/documentation discipline
  • Able to manage multiple active jobs at once without losing control of schedule, quality, or customer experience
  • Comfortable addressing problems directly, holding people accountable, and escalating risk early
  • Must be comfortable in the field, on job sites, and in fast-moving environments where conditions change quickly
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
  • Must be comfortable in a high-accountability environment where performance, ownership, and standards matter

Responsibilities

  • Complete pre-installation walkthroughs
  • Verify scope, measurements, and contract details
  • Confirm permits, materials, crews, and schedules
  • Resolve or escalate readiness issues before job start
  • Manage multiple active projects simultaneously
  • Perform site visits and quality inspections
  • Ensure work meets company and manufacturer standards
  • Identify and resolve field issues quickly
  • Serve as the primary homeowner contact
  • Provide proactive updates throughout the project
  • Set and manage expectations around scope and schedule
  • Handle escalations professionally
  • Identify and execute approved add-ons and change orders
  • Ensure all changes are scoped, priced, and documented
  • Protect margins and escalate risks early
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, photos, and notes
  • Ensure punch lists are completed
  • Collect final payment in full
  • Close projects with no unresolved issues
