Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or similar healthcare role is a plus but not needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and with a caring attitude
- Reliable transportation to and from patient homes in South Lyon, MI
- Ability to pass background checks as required
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff or supervisors
- Help with mobility and transferring patients safely
- Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed treatments as directed
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients
- Document patient care activities and communicate with healthcare team
