About The Position

Superior Medical Equipment Company has an immediate opening for a DME Service Technician. Location: Greeley, CO Status: Full-time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5 Hourly Pay Range: $22-$24 per hour REWARDING WORK YOU WILL DO: The HME Technician is responsible for the delivery of, and education in, home medical equipment (HME) to clients/patients of the company. Reports any misconduct, suspicious, or unethical activities to the corporate officer. Represents the Company professionally and courteously in all interactions with clients/patients. Schedules and delivers home medical equipment to clients/patients' homes. Demonstrates and explains HME equipment in the client's home and obtains appropriate documentation. Picks up and cleans home medical equipment as needed. Performs light maintenance on delivery van, and maintains mileage/vehicle check log. Maintains equipment tracking and lot number tracking for oxygen and solutions. Performs equipment maintenance per manufacturer's guidelines. Maintains HME delivery records. Assists in resolving client equipment problems when appropriate. Assumes on-call responsibilities in accordance with company policy. Reports equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policy. Participates in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies. Participates in company's performance improvement plan as requested by the performance improvement coordinator. Participates in company committees when requested. Pursues continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Required License: Valid driver's license, clean record for past three years.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum Experience: One (1) year of home medical equipment experience preferred.
