Requirements

  • Experience supporting individuals with Intellectual and Development Disabilities in 24-Hour comprehensive care
  • Residential Group Home Management strongly preferred
  • Compassionate leadership: Ability to lead with empathy build trust and support a person-centered environment.
  • Strong communication skills: Clear respectful and effective communication with individuals supported, families, and staff .
  • Organizational and time-management skills: Able to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, coordinate care, and oversee daily operations.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making: Capable of responding calmly and effectively to unexpected situations and making thoughtful and informed decisions.
  • Team leadership and coaching: Experience supervising, training, and motivating staff to deliver high-quality support.
  • Adaptability and flexibility: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where needs and priorities may change quickly.
  • Documentation and compliance: Attention to detail with record-keeping, care plans, incident reports, and state regulatory requirements.
  • Crisis intervention: Ability to remain composed and supportive during challenging behaviors or emergency situations.
  • Interpersonal and relationship-building skills: Skilled at creating positive, respectful relationships with individuals, families, and team members.
  • Basic computer proficiency: Comfortable using software for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
  • Valid driver's license: Required for transporting individuals and attending appointments or community activities.
