About The Position

The Home Maker provides essential non-medical support to clients in their homes, helping to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy living environment. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, caring, and dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
• Must pass a background check and health clearance (including TB clearance)
• Reliable transportation preferred (mileage reimbursement may be available)

Nice To Haves

• Previous home care, housekeeping, or caregiver experience is a plus (but not required)

Responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, dusting, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Assist with grocery shopping and meal preparation
• Change bed linens and maintain a tidy home environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Follow individualized care plans and report any changes in client condition or surroundings
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the home
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for each client’s dignity
