Wells Fargo is seeking a Home Loan Processor (SAFE) to support complex administrative and operational processes related to home loan applications. This role involves timely communication with customers and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with guidelines, and providing guidance to less experienced team members. The position requires a strong focus on customer service and the ability to manage a pipeline of loan applications effectively.

  • Support complex administrative, customer support, and operational processes on home loan applications.
  • Communicate with external customers, agents, brokers, and counter-parties to obtain missing information and documentation.
  • Submit loans for underwriting review and ensure compliance with guidelines.
  • Perform file reviews of complex home loan applications and clear stipulations.
  • Prioritize and manage assigned pipeline to meet deadlines and performance metrics.
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced Loan Processors.
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing knowledge of function, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • 2+ years of Loan Processing, Customer Service, Loan Administration, Collections, or Sales experience.
  • Demonstrated experience through work, training, military experience, or education.
  • Prior mortgage loan processor experience.
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo CORE application.
  • Ability to gather, organize, and interpret data.
  • Demonstrated comfort and success in voice-to-voice customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with proactive problem solving and resolving customer complaints.
