About the position
The incumbent will create and maintain a safe, positive learning environment to ensure the holistic development of each student and staff member through cultural, social, spiritual, physical, and academic experiences.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, positive learning environment that promotes student and staff well-being
- Support the Bureau of Indian Education's mission to provide high quality education opportunities from early childhood through life
- Consider a tribe's need for cultural and economic well-being in all educational programs and services
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and empathy among students, staff, and community members
- Develop and implement programs and services that support the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and community members to ensure that educational programs and services meet the needs of all students
- Provide support and resources to students, staff, and community members to promote their overall well-being and success
