About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to provide IVIG (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) infusions for a patient located near Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78229 . This recurring PRN role requires 3 infusion days per month and offers a consistent, flexible schedule ideal for experienced infusion nurses seeking supplemental income or lighter clinical hours. You will deliver specialized infusion care in a calm, one-on-one environment ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of treatment each month.

Requirements

Active RN license in Texas (or Compact State)
Minimum 1 year of IV infusion or acute care experience
Strong IV initiation and vascular access skills
Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
Reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, and auto insurance

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with IVIG or home infusion therapy
CRNI® certification or similar infusion specialty credential

Responsibilities

Administer IVIG and other specialty infusions per provider orders.
Assess patient response and monitor for adverse reactions.
Manage IV access, including peripheral lines, PICCs, and ports.
Provide patient and caregiver education regarding infusion therapy and post-care.
Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Communicate effectively with care coordination and pharmacy teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
