Requirements
- Minimum of one year home health experience
- Registered Nurse, currently licensed by the state of Maryland
- Valid Maryland driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
- EXPERIENCED IN THE CARE OF PERIPHERAL AND CENTRAL LINES
- ABILITY TO TROUBLESHOOT POTENTIAL PROBLEMS THAT MAY ARISE IN DEALING WITH IV THERAPY

- CRNI credential preferred
Responsibilities
- Use the nursing process to plan and provide patient/family care. This includes assessing and evaluating needs and implementing effective care plans which are kept up to date, evaluated and documented.
- Coordinate patient care activities and maintain communication with other disciplines including nursing agency, pharmacist and physician.
- Teach the patient/family about the patient’s care needs and disease prevention.
- Follow appropriate infection control measures.
