About The Position

American Home Design is looking for an experienced and dependable Home Improvement Service Technician to join our team. This position performs warranty work and repairs in customers' homes while also assisting with warehouse duties to support our installation and service departments.

Requirements

• Experience in general home repair, carpentry, or maintenance
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform warranty work and home repairs
• Repair and adjust windows, doors, and sashes
• Complete minor plumbing repairs related to shower or bath installations
• Handle light carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs
• Unload delivery trucks and assist with warehouse operations
• Monitor, scan, and update inventory databases to ensure accurate stock levels
• Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile variances
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
