About The Position

The Home Improvement Sales Manager is responsible for leading and growing an assigned sales territory by managing a team of independent contractor Sales Representatives. This role focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction, collaborating with the Installation team for accurate sales orders and timely installations, and meeting defined sales metrics to drive team success.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in direct sales or a similar role.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to travel locally, including evenings and weekends.
  • Self-driven with a proactive, 'roll up your sleeves' mindset.

  • Leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and manage a team of Sales Representatives.
  • Drive sales effectiveness and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Conduct in-home sales consultations as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Installation team to ensure accurate and timely product delivery.
  • Recruit, onboard, and coach sales representatives.
  • Analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide exceptional customer support and resolve inquiries.
