About The Position

At Regions, the Home Improvement Financing Senior Collections Representative is responsible for the daily collection process, which includes communications with customers at all levels of delinquency. This position handles complex issues and serves as a resource to associates with less experience. Regions Home Improvement Financing, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and independent contractors to provide Point-of-Sale financing capabilities. This enables these partners to provide homeowners with an additional option to pay for various improvements to their homes, benefitting both the contractor partner and the homeowner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Three (3) years of collections or related experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Responsibilities

• Contacts customers by phone or other methods to resolve delinquent status of accounts
• Answers complex customer questions
• Consults customers to available payment options
• Documents outcomes and actions taken
• Assists in the development of written procedures
• Serves as a resource to associates with less experience
• May provide guidance on complex or escalated issues
