Per Diem Home Health Speech Therapist (SLP)-Riverside Central and South We are seeking a Per Diem Speech Therapist (SLP) to provide care to our patients. As a member of our team, you will work alongside a group of highly skilled professionals who are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. We value teamwork and collaboration. Pay per visit ranges from $80- $110/visit, commensurate with experience and depending on type of visit. The compensation reflected on this posting is an estimate of yearly compensation. You will spend your time conducting evaluations, providing treatment, and administering speech therapy programs to patients in their homes. You will also maintain accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding patients/clients' condition and care given in accordance with LORIAN policies and procedures. Requirements
- master's or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology
- licensed SLP in the state in which you are practicing
- at least one year of clinical experience in speech-language pathology
- possess and maintain current CPR certification (BLS required)
- ability to work with adults (18 years and older)
- demonstrate tact and patience
- be self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
Responsibilities
- conduct appropriate evaluations
- assess the home environment
- identify equipment needs relative to speech/language function
- administer speech therapy programs utilizing specialized therapeutic techniques and/or equipment
- observe, record, and report information on the patient's condition to the attending physician, case manager, and in the patient's health record
- providing treatment
- administering speech therapy programs to patients in their homes
- maintain accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding patients/clients' condition and care given in accordance with LORIAN policies and procedures
