About The Position

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team and ensure the highest standards of care and compliance for our clients and caregivers. The Home Care QA Specialist is responsible for maintaining quality and compliance across client records, caregiver documentation, and agency processes. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that services meet both regulatory standards and our commitment to outstanding client care.

Requirements

• Prior experience in Home care, Healthcare Administration, or Quality Assurance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid, EVV systems, and compliance regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems (HHAeXchange, Home Care Home Base).
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit client charts, caregiver documentation, and visit notes for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor timeliness of documentation submissions and follow up with staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, Medicaid, and agency policies.
• Collaborate with the scheduling and clinical teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct internal quality checks and prepare reports for management.
• Support ongoing caregiver and nurse training initiatives.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
