Schedule:Full Time Shift: Location: The role you'll contribute: The Physical Therapist Assistant implements the treatment plan developed and supervised by the Physical Therapist in a professional manner and within department standards, adhering to the corporate compliance plan and all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies, and accrediting bodies.
Requirements
- AssociateDegree
- Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA)
- Valid in state Driver's License with current car insurance
- Active American Heart Association BLS
Responsibilities
- Provides treatment to relieve pain and to develop or restore function as ordered on Plan of Care.
- Provides accurate documentation.
- Teaches use of assistive devices and equipment to patients and caregivers.
- Observes, records and reports to physician any untoward reactions to treatment.
- Instructs and supervises family members to provide continuous therapy and home treatment plan.
- Maintains open communication with case manager.
- Submits daily log and charge sheets to Home Health office.
- Maintains communication with scheduler regarding caseload limitations.
- Participates in case conferences.
- Maintains open communication with primary Therapist.
