Position Overview We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic and supportive team. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to provide personalized, patient-centered care. As a PRN PT, you will work with patients in their homes, supporting their rehabilitation goals while maintaining control over your availability and caseload. Service Areas We proudly serve patients throughout Arlington, Alexandria, VA, and surrounding communities, including: Arlington • Alexandria • Falls Church • Bailey’s Crossroads • Fairfax • McLean • Old Town • Springfield

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Virginia PT license and CPR certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist (home health experience preferred but not required)
  • Strong clinical judgment and evidence-based practice skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate functional abilities and therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and independence
  • Provide hands-on therapeutic exercises and interventions to promote healing and prevent injury
  • Educate patients and caregivers with clear instructions and practical techniques for at-home care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team (nurses, physicians, OTs, etc.) to deliver coordinated care
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
