Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current, unrestricted PTA license in the state of practice
At least 6 months of PTA experience preferred (new grads encouraged to apply!)
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
Willingness to travel within the service area (up to 50%)
Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and perform physical tasks related to patient care

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
Support the patient’s Plan of Care and report changes in condition to the supervising PT
Ensure care aligns with state practice guidelines and physician orders
Help patients achieve measurable progress toward their mobility and independence goals
Teach patients and caregivers how to safely use assistive devices
Provide education on therapy-related home exercise programs
Promote Elara Caring’s mission, values, and commitment to excellence
Work in a physical, hands-on environment that requires lifting and mobility
Work occasional irregular or on-call hours as needed
