About The Position

North American Medical Associates (NAMA) is a growing Multi-Specialty Medical Practice with a team of doctors and professionals devoted to patient care: diagnosing, managing, and treating chronic pain. Core Job Responsibilities Home health medical assistants are responsible for a mix of medical monitoring, personal care, and administrative support.

Requirements

  • Current Certificate from an accredited; NJ, PA or DE Medical Assistant training school.
  • Current CPR license
  • High level of professionalism
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel Required

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred 2+ years of experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital
  • Inventory management experience

Responsibilities

  • Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
  • Monitor and document the patient's physical and mental condition, reporting any significant changes to a supervising nurse or physician.
  • Collect routine specimens for lab testing, such as urine or blood.
  • Guide patients through prescribed physical therapy exercises and range-of-motion activities.
  • Schedule medical appointments
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and document all services provided.
