About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes. A licensed vocational nurse shall perform duties consistent with the Vocational Nursing Practice Act. A licensed vocational nurse shall meet qualifications established by the home health agency for the services provided and any additional qualifications required by home health agency licensure regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of LVN experience required.
• Must possess a CA License with IV/Blood Withdrawal Certification.
• Reliable transportation and auto insurance are required.
• CPR Certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Follow the plan of care and provide treatments as required.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve positive patient care outcomes.
• Perform duties consistent with the Vocational Nursing Practice Act.
