About The Position

Hillcrest Home Care, a locally-owned healthcare provider focused on aging adults, has an opportunity for a Home Health Assistant/CNA. This team member provides direct client services in the client's home, working under the supervision of the case manager to provide bathing assistance. The ideal CNA candidate has the ability to work in an independent setting, follow the established care plan, and provide friendly and compassionate service. Experience with making home visits is a plus. A Home Health Assistant/CNA promotes the growth of Hillcrest Home Care by representing the organization, its mission and its role in the community in a professional manner. Hours are Day Shift Monday - Friday, no weekends or holidays. Full-time hours would be considered upon request. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of the 75 hour Certified Nursing Assistant course
Active certification to practice as CNA in the State of Nebraska
Minimum one-year CNA experience
One year of experience as a home health assistant in a home care setting preferred
Certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must maintain current driver's license and auto insurance coverage and have access to reliable transportation
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of standards effectively
Proficient at basic computer/laptop, such as opening and closing Windows applications.
