About The Position

Indiana Masonic Home Compass Park is looking to add to our Home Health Team. Compass Park is a vast 320-acre community in the heart of Johnson County adjacent to Indianapolis. It is a vibrant community through all seasons and a place of beauty, rich in tall trees and winding footpaths. This job is in Franklin, IN. This key leadership opportunity is ideal for a nursing professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centered care and brings a strong background in home health clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare experience required.
  • Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups in diverse situations.
  • Ability to present effectively to groups and professionally represent Indiana Masonic Home, Inc. as required.
  • Proficiency with computers and software systems adopted by Indiana Masonic Home, Inc.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and interact tactfully with individuals and groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, interpret, and execute departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • May be a healthcare professional (e.g., therapist or clinician) capable of performing patient assessments.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active, unencumbered license to practice.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally.

Nice To Haves

  • Long-term care and/or home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and admission referrals; facilitate a smooth transition for external patients entering the campus.
  • Recommend prospective applicants for admission and obtain authorization from the Director of Business Development, Executive Director, or Administrator.
  • Support the Admissions Coordinator, as needed, by reviewing rooms prior to admission and communicating proposed admission plans and unique resident needs to all relevant departments for all payer classes.
  • Initiate and ensure timely delivery of information to the preauthorization nurse to begin insurance authorization processes.
  • Meet with prospective residents, families, and other interested parties to coordinate admissions and clearly communicate expectations.
  • Communicate concerns, complaints, or suggestions to appropriate departments that may impact quality of care or operational standards.
  • Collaborate with all departments, including Home Health, Assisted Living, and Independent Living, to ensure seamless transitions across the continuum of care.
  • Participate in local organizations that provide value to the community and industry through membership, presentations, and engagement.
  • Manage community and public relations initiatives, including health fairs, screenings, educational programs, and outreach activities.
  • Stay informed of relevant operational, competitive, and company information to respond effectively to inquiries and convey the community’s message.
  • Develop and contribute strategies for inclusion in the IMH marketing plan in collaboration with IMH Marketing staff and the Executive Director or Administrator.
