Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, families, and team members.
- Basic knowledge of personal care and safety procedures.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required if client need to be driven.
- Strong work ethic, patience, and a genuine interest in helping others.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Support clients with mobility and transferring, including positioning and ambulation.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote positive mental well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress.
