About The Position

The consultant is tasked with upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and fostering positive relationships within the company, across various departments, and with external stakeholders. Reporting to the Home Health Area Market Executive and Growth Director, the consultant is responsible for sourcing admissions through direct community engagement, educating healthcare providers and the public about the home health program. In this role, the consultant will provide accurate information regarding home health services in response to inquiries from healthcare providers and the general public. Collaboration with the Home Health Area Market Executive and Director of Growth is essential to develop a comprehensive plan aimed at educating stakeholders about the benefits of the Home Health Program. The consultant will maintain current data on the market area, competitors, and marketing strategies while ensuring an organized approach to territory management. Excellent service to the community is paramount, ensuring a balanced and sustainable mix of admissions. The consultant will prepare and conduct calls and presentations to potential referral sources, participate in strategic planning, and analyze their assigned territory in alignment with the Home Health agency business plan. Coordination with clinical management staff is necessary for planning in-services and presentations, as well as addressing issues with referral sources. Additionally, the consultant will engage in community and organizational programs to promote professional growth and understanding of Home Health care, while also performing other duties as assigned.
