About The Position

Cobble Hill is currently hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our team! What we offer: No home visits required-work in one location! As the HHA, you will escort residents to appointments outside the facility as well as assist with other daily care tasks, which include but are not limited to:

Requirements

• Active HHA Certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have a strong comprehension of the English language, which includes reading, writing, and speaking fluently
• Prior experience as an HHA or in the home health or nursing home setting
• Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide routine individualized care to residents
• Prepping meals alongside the dietary team and feeding residents as needed
• Observing and monitoring residents and reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse immediately
• Maintaining the confidentiality of all residents and data of the facility
• Helping residents with daily hygiene and personal care such as bathing or dressing
• Assist residents with the use of equipment such as walkers or wheelchairs
• Clinical responsibilities may be required under the supervision of nursing, such as medication administration
