About The Position

As a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA), you will provide one-to-one patient care with a focus on the whole person, nurturing mind, body, and spirit. Your accredited HHA certificate will serve as the foundation for advanced skill-building, paid continuing education units (CEUs), and nurse-mentored career tracks. You will have the flexibility to choose your shifts, whether days, evenings, or overnights, ensuring that your work schedule meshes with your life. Requirements

• Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide program (HHA certificate).
• Minimum 1 year of paid home-health or hospice experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach clients’ homes.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
• Clear, confident communication skills and a passion for relationship-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as transfers, bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility while protecting the dignity of clients.
• Change linens, do light laundry, and maintain a hazard-free, sanitized home environment.
• Provide medication reminders, observe for changes in symptoms, and document vital signs or red-flag signs for the supervising nurse.
• Engage therapeutically with clients by reading aloud, reminiscing, guiding range-of-motion exercises, or accompanying them on short walks to enhance their mental and physical wellness.
• Accurately document care notes, progress, and concerns in the digital charting system before the end of each shift.
