About The Position

Midland Care's Hospice House is a compassionate and supportive environment providing end-of-life care to individuals and their families. Our dedicated team offers physical, emotional, and spiritual support with dignity and respect. We are seeking a caring and reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our hospice team. The HHA will provide hands-on personal care to terminally ill patients under the supervision of a nurse, ensuring comfort and quality of life

Requirements

• Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
• Must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization’s insurability standard as defined by Midland policy.
• Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position.
• Due to insurance company requirements, must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

• One year experience as a Home Health Aide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document patient condition and report changes to nursing staff
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
