About The Position

Sentara Home Care is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide. Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.

Requirements

CNA (Required)
First Aid Basics (Required)
BLS (Required within 90 days)

Responsibilities

Basic and routine patient care
Personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding
Intake/output
Ambulation
Assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home
