About The Position

Right at Home is seeking Caregivers to assist seniors and disabled adults with activities of daily living in their homes or care facilities in Comstock Park, MI. The company emphasizes making a difference, especially during challenging times, and provides necessary PPE. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must possess current automobile insurance
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
  • Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
  • Must have successfully completed a Competency Evaluation that meets the State licensing law for home health agencies
  • 6 months - 1 year experience as a Caregiver in health care (in homes or facilities)

Nice To Haves

  • Current CPR Certificate is recommended

Responsibilities

  • Assist seniors and disabled adults with activities of daily living in their homes or care facilities
  • Assist with eating
  • Assist with personal hygiene
  • Assist with dressing
  • Assist with shaving
  • Perform light housekeeping
  • Perform laundry
  • Perform other household chores
  • Prepare meals
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Provide dementia care
  • Engage in companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
