About The Position
Home Health Aide (HHA) We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide high-quality, in-home care and support to our patients. This role focuses on assisting patients with daily living activities while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.
Requirements
- Valid Indiana HHA or CNA certification (required)
- Positive attitude and compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Reliable transportation and valid car insurance
- Physical examination within the last six (6) months
- Current TB skin test
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screen upon offer of employment
Nice To Haves
- Prior home health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and repositioning as needed
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping related to patient care
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse or care coordinator
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Follow individualized care plans and agency policies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment for patients
- Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner
