About The Position
Join our team as a Home Health Aide in Home Health/Hospice, bringing comfort and dignity to our patients! Summary The Home Health Aide provides personal care and light household services to Hospice clients on an intermittent, part-time basis under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse in accordance with a medically approved plan of care. The length of the assignment varies based upon client needs. Coverage would primarily include, but not limited to, the Dawson, Appleton & Ortonville area. Schedule Fulltime, 80 hours every 2 weeks Day shift, Mon-Fri, and includes every 5th-6th weekend rotation 8AM-4:30PM
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Home Health Aide/Homemaker or CNA certification from a Minnesota Department of Health approved program
- Basic Life Support certification
- Must maintain a valid State of MN Driver’s License and properly insured motor vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Provides personal care to Hospice clients
- Provides light household services to Hospice clients
- Works on an intermittent, part-time basis
- Works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Works in accordance with a medically approved plan of care
